Major Past Projects

Collective Calton Hill Arts Centre
  • Location: Edinburgh, UK
  • Role: Project Manager (2016–2017)
  • Description: Delivered a new arts centre, including both new build and restoration within the historic City Observatory quadrangle. Features include interactive multimedia arts galleries, a restaurant, and observatory restoration.
  • Key Challenges: Stakeholder management, fundraising, cost management, scheduling, and maintaining design integrity.
  • Cost: £5M
Edinburgh One (Scottish Widows Asset Management HQ)
  • Location: Edinburgh, UK
  • Role: Lead Architect (2000–2002)
  • Description: 5,500 sqm landmark office development adjacent to the EICC. Includes a central atrium over six floors and a 600-space underground car park. Achieved the highest commercial rental rates outside London.
  • Key Challenges: Maximizing office space within conservation area restrictions, delivering a strong HQ design, and managing the construction schedule.
  • Cost: £25M
RMB HQ Tower
  • Location: Fredman Drive, Johannesburg, South Africa
  • Role: Lead Architect (1995–1996)
  • Description: Designed and led the redevelopment of an entire city block, featuring a 25-floor bank tower in Sandton’s commercial center. The project included nine commercial buildings over a three-level basement parking area with 2,000 spaces.
  • Cost: £30M

  2. Eastgate Retail Centre – 20,000 sqm shopping center with 700 parking spaces, Inverness, UK (2003)
